Tamara Pridmore, Assistant Venue Manager:
In three words, Tamara describes her first year as “Challenging, Satisfying, Empowering.” One moment that highlighted her growth was during our Showcase event, when questions from senior leadership were directed to her – a moment that showed her how far she’d come.
Looking ahead, Tamara hopes to refine her hospitality skills and bring them into a more corporate setting, continuing to elevate the experiences we deliver at Cliftons.
Marissa Dayag, Customer Enablement Global Sales & Service:
For Marissa, the past year has been about Growth, Momentum, and Impact. Growth has meant adapting to a fast-paced, global environment, embracing technology, and turning complex challenges into clear, actionable steps.
Momentum is about keeping projects moving, aligning teams across time zones, and maintaining energy under pressure.
And Impact? That’s Marissa’s ultimate goal – delivering event experiences that really land for clients, strengthening client relationships, and driving measurable outcomes. She reflects: “I’ve learned to approach challenging situations with confidence and clarity – a year ago, that would have felt overwhelming.”
Phong Nguyen, Chef:
Phong brings a light-hearted perspective to his first year, reflecting on the opportunity for downtime: “I literally went from wearing my chef shoes 24/7 to actual work boots!”
After decades in hospitality, the change in pace has allowed him to enjoy holidays, time with family, and finally tackle a backlog of life admin.
Moving forward, Phong hopes to make Cliftons synonymous with in-house quality catering, delivering fresh, exciting, and fulfilling dining experiences for every client.
Everyone’s first year looks a bit different, but one thing is consistent. You learn quickly, you build confidence, and you’re supported along the way.
If you’re thinking about joining Cliftons, this is just a glimpse of what your first year could look like.
