As CEO of Cliftons, Vanessa leads with a passion for innovation and a commitment to cultivating an inclusive, dynamic workplace. With vast experience across the Asia Pacific region, she has run events and venues across multiple countries. strategies in the events, media, and technology sectors.
A big believer in lifelong learning and giving back to our communities through mentor and industry support programs, Vanessa is actively involved in the industry, as the board chair of Meetings and Events Association of Australia (MEA). Fun fact: she’s also a certified wine judge. Her leadership philosophy? “Be bold, embrace challenges, and continue learning every step of the way.”
With over 17 years at Cliftons, Melchor has become a familiar and trusted face to clients in Canberra. As Venue Manager, he ensures each event runs smoothly by overseeing everything from venue readiness, briefing staff and personally welcoming clients on event day.
Melchor’s dedication to building strong relationships has cemented Cliftons’ reputation for exceptional service. He thrives on helping clients and anticipating challenges, particularly government organisations, meet their unique event needs with confidentiality and expertise. A champion of giving back, Melchor leads a stationery donation drive supporting underprivileged students in the Philippines. “Helping the community, even in small ways, is something that makes my job even more fulfilling” he says.
Wolfgang leads Cliftons’ Field Sales team which spans three countries and successfully manages a diverse portfolio of major accounts across multiple industry sectors. His team drives key client projects, delivering both soft-skills and technical training to up to 7,000 end-users.
A long-standing Cliftons team member, Wolfgang is known for his supportive leadership style. He inspires his team through coaching and encouraging innovative thinking. Wolfgang is also passionate about exploring new sales platforms and rolling out advanced tools, positioning Cliftons as a leader in technology adoption. Nazley originally joined Cliftons in 2022 and, after briefly stepping away, she’s returned to lead business development in Wellington, New Zealand. With a passion for relationship management and sales, Nazley enjoys nurturing relationships and working closely with government and corporate clients to deliver tailored event solutions that bring their vision to life. Her role involves engaging with new and existing clients, strategic account management, securing strategic partnerships and driving growth.

A People & Culture team member will screen your profile for relevant skills and experiences and contact you for a short conversation.
This stage consists of two to three levels of interviews with our team: People & Culture, Hiring Managers, and a relevant executive manager. The first interviews are done virtually. Hiring managers will invite candidates to meet in person in their venue locations for the last interview. Here, you are given the space to share your passion and expertise related to the role you applied for.
There will be instances where you will be required to complete an online assessment to ascertain your capabilities that are in line with the role’s priorities. This is also a good opportunity to ask us questions so, don’t hesitate!
